This clamp is designed for thinner diameter SUP paddle shafts and is unlikely to be suitable for Kayak paddles. We are not sure of the exact diameter range this clamp will suit. We have measured the clamp and the outer diameter of the shaft should be around 28.9 mm (however the shaft can be sanded or secured with a thicker epoxy to allow for a larger or smaller shaft diameter The inner diameter will fit up to 26.4mm but clamps down tighter- but you will need to have an indexing channel in the spigot.
