Perfect tool for the job So there I was … cleaning out the dryer vent, fishing for some stubborn lint in the filter trap, with a plastic fork .. and dropped it into the vent! Tried to fish that out using a long chopstick with sticky tape .. and the tape fell in too! A coat hanger and vent-cleaner were useless. I wasn’t hiring the handyman for this. Called all the various local hardware depots .. no luck. Onto Amazon, found this promising gadget and ordered. Presto! It worked perfectly. Quickly snagged the plastic fork, tape .. and lint. I was back in business. It also worked great for an item stuck between the car seat and console. The plastic tube it comes in is great for storage, so ot get tangled with other stuff in the garage drawer.
