These are Peak PS* brand High-quality latex wrist gaskets and are sold as a pair. These are used normally on Dry and Semi Dry Suits to replace torn, ripped or degraded seals. This is the original Bellows style. Peak Paddle Sport now do 3 other alternative models that have different shapes. 2 models for their racing line dry wear and a third for some of their newer sea kayak and white water items (2022 onwards). It is likely if you are replacing your gaskets you will be using this bellows style as newer jackets with the newer gaskets will likely still be in good condition. These replacements will need fitting with glue etc. We recommend checking out the methods of installation before buying to ensure you feel comfortable to do it. There are 4 sizes – XS, S, M, L Aquaseal FD is a suitable adhesive for gasket repairs. Note that Fingernails, Insect repellent, and sunscreen are all known to cause degradation in seals so to keep them in good condition avoid contact with these and rinse garments in cold, fresh water after every use. Store paddling gear in a dry, dark, and cool place, away from any strong fumes such as diesel or resins. An ideal storage temperature is 10-20 degrees Celsius. Make sure your gear is fully dried inside and out before storing away. (Perhaps use some Silicon desiccant packs to help avoid humidity and hydrolysis in long term storage). It is best to avoid pressure on the neck gaskets so don’t use a coat hanger (especially those with sloping shoulders (most hangers). A specialised hanger for wet or dry suits with flatter wider shoulders may be ok PeakPS make these to gaskets the following models (but they do fit other brands as well).
